#googmayharm

With all due respect John, I am the head of IT and I have it on good authority. If you type ‘Google’, into Google, you can break the internet, so please, no one try it, even for a joke. It’s not a laughing matter, you can break the internet!

So who did it? Come on, own up? The talk sweeping the internt right now is that google is fubar! I asked on twitter who had bloged it yet, minutes after it happend and got back a flood of reponces from Alex, Tom, Sean, MicheleKate and Mike in the space of three or four minutes.

Also in space of a minute or two @onstartups  had invented the #googmayharm tag and ten minutes later it had been used arround 500 1,000 times.

You have got to love the speed this all gets reprted at these days …

Yep, all seems fixed now. The speed of reporting you mention is incredible. I don’t think I’ve ever moved so quickly on getting a blog post out the door (usually I try crafting them and make sure all my sources are cross referenced - no need for that this time!).
